Sibling Support Service (SSS )

“Who after me?” is the biggest question that often arises often in the minds of many parents who have disabled children. Siblings should be educated and motivated to care for and love their brothers and sisters. Sibling Support Service ( SSS ) is initiated in the school to suit these inevitable needs. According to their age, the group is divided into three heads:

1). Pre-adolescent ( below 10 years )

2). Adolescent ( 11 - 18 Years )

3). Adult group ( above 18 years ) SSS organises various facilitating programmes for them.

• Make them understand the nature of disabilities.

• Help them realize their duties and responsibilities in taking care of their mentally retarded brother / sister

•Provide guidance and counseling.
