Networking is a basic essential component for a social service organization which facilitates the partnering institutions and sharing their resources.
We have a network with other special schools for the intellectual & developmental disabilities that functions in and around Madurai. We organise various competitions for the students on every special occasions like World Mental Health day and World Disabled Day. These competitions help them to exhibit their innate talents to the society and help them to expose to the outer world.

Special Olympics

Special Olympics is an International agency that organises sports events for persons with Intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout the world. We organise various Special Olympics training program for teachers, parents and volunteers and coordinate special Olympic programs in Madurai.

We need a helping hand

Bethshan is a non-profitable voluntary social service organization that intends to promote the welfare of the persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. We solicit your good wishes and support of any kind for the enhancement of this noble and social cause. For the success of any such cause, it needs the helping hands of the benevolent people. Many people wish to take part in some kind or the other social activities. You may be one among them who has been keenly waiting for such opportunities to express your benevolence for the promotion of this noble cause. But, you may not have the time to volunteer or get involved in all these social issues. But you can offer support by donating towards that cause. We solicit the cooperation of well wishers and welcome your valid contributions for the development of this noble cause. Your support may be in any of the following plans:

Annual Fund

The Annual Fund supports the people and programmes that make Bethshan so special. This fund bridges the gap between what it costs just to run the school—and what it really costs to have the best possible teachers and programmes. We invite you to join many parents, friends, corporations, employees, trusts, and family foundations who donate each year to the Annual Fund. Your altruistic gifts help us support various programmes including academics, faculty development, advising, counselling, library, athletics, technology, financial aid, and unforeseen physical plant needs.

Endowment Fund

Endowment giving includes major gifts to a fund that takes off the pressure of the operating budget. Endowment principal remains intact as the school spends a percentage of the interest received every year.
