Founder
Mr. A. Jeyapal, is a passionate special educator, author and visionary leader dedicated to improving the lives of the children with special needs. Born in 1971, he has devoted his life to empowering individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities through quality education, compassionate care and skill development. He earned his Bachelor's degree in History from Arul Anandar College, Madurai (1989-1992). Driven by a deep desire to serve the children with special needs, he pursued a Post graduate Diploma in Mental Retardation from Madurai Kamaraj University (1993-1994), followed by a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from the same University in 1997.
With decades of experience, Mr. A. Jeyapal currently serves as a Headmaster and Program Coordinator, where he continues to inspire students, parents, and educators through his unwavering commitment for the holistic development of the children with special needs.
Being a prolific writer and an advocate for special education, he is the editor of the quarterly magazine "Viluthugal", a publication that promotes awareness, education and support system for persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. He has also authored a valuable book titled "How to Teach - Activities of Daily Living Skills".
Through his visionary leadership, Mr. A. Jeyapal has played a vital role in creating opportunities for children with special needs to live independently and with dignity. He serves God by serving these little souls by offering compassion, care, and security and peaceful environment. He also provides opportunities to make them realize their God-given potentials and skills and use them for His glory.

The school presently functions in its own building at No : 828, Sikkandar Chavadi, Kovilpapakudi Village, Madurai – 625 018. It is a sub urban area located about 10 kms away from Madurai City.

Bethshan has a competent teaching faculty who are Registered Rehabilitation Professionals under the Rehabilitation Council of India – RCI ( a statutory body under the Government of India ). We have well experienced and highly qualified Special Educators. Presently, we have five special educators, one Physiotherapist and five support staff members.
